Food Allergy Kids of Atlanta is represented by parents of food allergic children who are advocates in our community. Our goal is to raise awareness on the importance of food allergy prevention and the seriousness in food allergy reactions within our community.

MISSION:
Food Allergy Kids of Atlanta is committed to being an advocate in the local community, increasing public understanding on the importance of food allergy prevention and the seriousness in food allergy reactions through the means of public communication, publishing materials, and outreach programs and activities.
Food Allergy Kids of Atlanta is diligent in bringing the local community together to support and advance food allergy research. PROGRAMS & ACTIVITIES:
Food Allergy Kids of Atlanta is dedicated to ensuring a safer, more educated, & healthier environment in the local area, overall improving the lifestyles of food allergic children and their families.
GOALS:
- Increase food allergy awareness in local restaurants, creating a safer and more enjoyable
dining experience for food allergic children and their families.
- Increase food allergy awareness in our local daycares, schools, and community, overall
creating a safer environment for our children.
- Implement a course of action that will initiate the State Georgia, or county school districts,
to improve its current guidelines and procedures regarding the management of food
allergies in schools and daycares.
- Support newly diagnosed or currently managing food allergy families.
- Support, empower, and educate parents who have food allergic children entering,
or currently enrolled in daycare or school.
- Host allergen-free activities and programs for local food allergic children
- Help advance food allergy research, and support other organizations that benefit the
food allergy community.
- Increase food allergy awareness with local health care providers and school nurses.
- Help provide support to families who may be having difficulty seeking proper medical care
related to food allergies.
- Create an on-line lending library consisting of food allergy related books for children
and adults.
