Food Allergy Kids of Atlanta educates the public about the importance of food allergy management and the seriousness in food allergy reactions, helps to advance food allergy research, and creates safer environments for food allergic individuals. Through community programs, we empower our members to become independent and confident advocates.
Our goal is to become a community resource that empowers all citizens in Georgia to successfully manage food allergies to improve the quality of life for food allergic individuals and their families. We hope to advance food allergy research by engaging communities in our state. We strive to become a sustainable resource for those in need or reside in rural or underserved areas and offer a platform to empower our young members to become their best advocates through education, mentorship, and community giving.
  • Expand food allergy awareness in Georgia communities.
  • Strengthen food allergy policy in Georgia businesses and schools.
  • Introduce and support legislation that advances food allergy initiatives.
  • Advance food allergy research.
  • Assist the healthcare industry in its pursuit to support food-allergic patients and their families.
  • Increase accessibility to food allergy resources in underserved and rural areas
  • Develop programs that support food-allergic individuals and their families while dining out, traveling, or attending school.
  • Empower our children, teens, and young adults to become confident advocates.
  • Execute in-person and virtual activities that help to sustain group programs.
